About the Company

Estlafta OÜ manufactures log houses and also provides general construction service.

The log houses manufactured by us are meant for both all-the-year-round living and as summerhouses. The houses are made of pine or fir logs with the thickness from 8 ” – 12″.

We use mainly so-called Norwegian tenon, but as required by the clients we have also used other tenons, e.g. so-called dog neck as well as herring-bone which is widely spread in Estonia.

In addition to traditional roofs we also offer grass roofs which are suitable for the places in the countryside and are excellent for the new log house thanks to its heaviness.

Such houses are made as so-called handicraft, thus we are so-called handicraft log house makers.

We offer houses to our clients from the basement up to “turnkey”, as the latter guarantees the best quality solution for our clients.

The advantages of the log house have been sufficiently introduced by our colleagues from Estonia as well as abroad. The pluses and tiny minuses of the log house can be asked from our numerous clients and our grandparents who have lived in the log houses themselves.
